Having worked as a translator of multilingual texts (English and Italian), Géraldine Winckler decided to devote herself to the administration of cultural structures.
The adventure began in 1996 with the cofounding of KompleX KapharnaüM, which practices artistic creation in public spaces using various mediums such as video, sound, collages, tinkering, and urban scenography. She continues to collaborate with the company as a production manager.
In 1999 she joined the team of Bruno Meyssat’s Théâtres du Shaman. Then in 2001 she joined the collective ARFI—Association à la Recherche d’un Folklore Imaginaire, a collective of contemporary jazz musicians playing improvisational music. She spent 18 rich years with them. From 2005 to 2014 she participated in the organization of the annual event “Vogue la Galère,” initiated by Gérald Rigaud, the Public Crier of the Croix Rousse. In parallel to this, she took over a training program in financial and administrative management of businesses from 2006 to 2016. She joined the Collectif Petit Travers in October 2019 as production manager.
